When he served as the host of the NBC comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live,” Rob Schneider alleged that Bill Murray “totally despised” the cast.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Jim Norton and Sam Roberts Show” on Thursday, the 58-year-old former “SNL” cast member recalled the 72-year-old actor’s hatred for the show’s cast members.

Murray wasn’t particularly kind to us, according to Schneider. “When he was the host of Saturday Night Live, he despised us. utterly despised us. I suggest seething.”

The “Grown Ups” actor continued by claiming that Murray, a former “SNL” cast member, hated Chris Farley and Adam Sandler in particular.

FIRST SIGHTING OF BILL MURRAY SINCE ACCUSATIONS OF INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR

“He had a fierce hatred for Chris Farley. He appeared to be fuming just by looking at him “said Schneider.

He conjectured that Farley’s lifestyle, which Schneider linked to that of the late John Belushi, may have been the cause of Murray’s hate for the actor.

During their stints on “SNL,” Belushi and Murray co-starred and were good friends. At the age of 33, heroin overdoses claimed the lives of both Belushi and Farley.

He went on, “I’m not sure for sure, but I want to think that Chris’s desire to act out of control was motivated by his want to be Belushi, who he watched die and thought was cool. That is my interpretation, but I’m not sure. I don’t think so. I only have a partial faith in it.”

"He wasnt very nice to us," Rob Schneider said of Bill Murray. "He hated us on "Saturday Night Live" when he hosted. Absolutely hated us. I mean, seething."

Schneider added that Murray “just hated, like, all of us pretty much” but noted “the least of the hate was to me.”

“I took great pleasure in that he hated me less, because he’s my hero,” he said.

The comedian said that he knew that Murray hated the cast because of the way that he looked at them.

“It was just naked rage,” he said.

Schneider said that Murray was nice to his fans and “every common person” but not his fellow comedians.

The "Grown Ups" star went on to say that Murray particularly detested Adam Sandler, right, and the late Chris Farley, next to Sandler. Rob Schneider, left, Tim Meadows, next to Schneider, Farley, and Sandler are pictured on "SNL" in 1993.

“The Animal” actor also told the hosts that Murray “really hated Sandler, too.” Schneider said that he “couldn’t say exactly what it was” but added that Murray “just wasnt into that groove of it, you know?

“And Sandler was just committed to it, and just like, as soon as he would get on, you could see the audience just ate him up.”

Murray was a main “SNL” cast member in seasons 2 to 5 from 1977 to 1980. He served as a guest host of the show five times from 1981 to 1999.

Rob Schneider said that Bill Murray might have "hated" Chris Farley because his "out of control" behavior reminded the actor of his late friend and "SNL" co-star John Belushi. Elliott Gould, left, Belushi, center, and Murray, right, are pictured in 1977.
