NEW Fox News articles can now be heard on audio! During a Monday visit on MSNBC’s “Jos Daz-Balart Reports,” NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor stated that Democrats were “extremely scared” about former President Trump or other Republicans stealing the 2024 election.

When discussing a recent NBC News survey that revealed 58% of voters believe that America’s best years are behind it and 74% of people believe that the nation is headed in the wrong way. When questioned about the most significant issue confronting the United States, the poll also revealed that “threats to democracy” came out ahead of “cost of living” and “jobs and the economy.”

The polling, according to Alcindor, was “remarkable.”

“This really tells us the American public is looking at this and they’re worried, and that’s really important because cost of living, someone’s very survival, their ability to provide for their family, that usually you’d think is going to be the number-one thing, but when you have threats to democracy surpassing that, it really tells you that the American public is very, very concerned about sort of whether or not our great experiment, which is American democracy, whets their appetite for freedom.”

Daz-Balart then inquired as to the reason for Americans’ discontent, citing the 58% of voters who believed that the nation’s best days were behind it.

“What you see really is on the Democratic side, people that are very, very worried about the direction of this country, they’re particularly worried about the former President Trump possibly coming back into power or the former President Trump or another Republican stealing the election in 2022 or 2024 because we’ve seen so many election deniers be elected,” she said.

Several Republicans on the right are worried that too many people think the 2020 election was “free and fair,” she continued.

“Therefore, you can see a lot of anxiety in both political parties and on both sides. Jose should be added, as he was still residing during a pandemic. In spite of the fact that news stories are constantly being written about the various political implications and developments, I believe that many people are fearful for their personal safety, the future, and their ability to survive and prosper in this nation. More than a million Americans have died “She stated
