Authorities claim that a lady in North Carolina attempted to castrate her 5-year-old stepson, leading to her arrest and the filing of multiple charges against her.

Bracey Renee Byrd, 33, was detained on Friday and charged with three charges of criminal child abuse with physical injury, three counts of felony child abuse with significant bodily injury, malicious castration, attempted murder, and first-degree kidnapping.

According to FOX 8, the woman was arrested and granted a $2 million secured bond.
