The University of Wisconsin women’s volleyball team has become the subject of an investigation by the police after the school claimed that ‘private images’ that were ‘never intended to be posted publicly’ were being shared online without the participants’ permission.

After student-athletes contacted them regarding the photographs and video, the athletics department issued a statement late on Wednesday indicating that the UW-Madison Police Department is looking into “several offences.”

According to a statement from the university, “We are aware that private images and video of UW volleyball student-athletes that were never intended to be shared publicly are being circulated online.”

BYU concludes its investigation into the racial slur allegations made by a Duke player and discovers no evidence to support the claim.

“The illegal sharing is a serious and wrongful invasion of the privacy of the student-athletes, including possible violations of university policy and criminal legislation,” the statement reads.

One photo given by a source, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, , shows some squad members standing with their sports bras elevated after winning the Big Ten championship in November 2021.
